This page explains who writes the articles on yadidi.com, who checks them, where our legal information comes from, and what to do if you find a mistake. It applies to every blog post and practice-area page on this site.

Why we publish
People usually find this site after something has gone wrong: a crash with a big rig, a dog bite, a fall, a death in the family. They want to know what the law says and what happens next. Our articles try to answer those questions in plain English, using California law as it reads today. They are general information. They are not legal advice about your case, and reading them does not make you our client.
Who writes our articles
Articles on this site are prepared by the firm’s content team, who research each topic and read the statutes and cases that apply. Before anything is published, Cameron Yadidi Brock (State Bar of California #183112) reviews the article, edits it where needed and approves it. Articles appear under his name.
Who reviews our articles
Cameron Yadidi Brock reviews our legal content before it is published. He has been licensed by the State Bar of California since June 1996 (Bar #183112). You can check his license status on the State Bar’s public attorney search: State Bar of California profile for Cameron Yadidi Brock (#183112)
During review, the attorney reads the full article, checks each legal statement and citation against its source, and can require changes before the article goes live. When an article has been reviewed, the page says so, with the reviewer’s name, his bar number and the date. If a post does not show a “Reviewed by” line, it has not yet been through attorney review.
How we use AI in our research process
We sometimes use AI tools for background research: to gather and summarize public sources, collect references and organize a topic before writing starts. That material is a starting point for the writer, not the article.
A person on our team researches, verifies and writes every article. Every statute, case and statistic is checked against the original source by the writer and again during attorney review. We do not publish AI-generated text as it comes out of a tool.
Sources we rely on
We cite California law from the official source. Statutes link to leginfo.legislature.ca.gov with the code and section number, for example Code of Civil Procedure section 335.1, the two-year deadline for most personal injury lawsuits. Federal trucking rules link to the eCFR at ecfr.gov. Cases are cited by their official citation.
Crash and injury numbers come from government sources where they exist, such as the California Highway Patrol, the Office of Traffic Safety, the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. If we cannot trace a number back to where it started, we leave it out.
When a passage is the attorney’s own view or experience, rather than a rule of law, we say so.
Keeping articles current
We review our legal articles at least once every 12 months. We also review an article sooner when the law it covers changes, for example after an amendment to a statute or a new published appellate decision, or when a reader reports an error that we confirm. Each page shows the date it was last updated.
Corrections
If you see a factual error, a wrong citation or a legal statement that is out of date, use the contact form at https://yadidi.com/contact/ or call (818) 650-3520. Tell us which page it is on and what looks wrong. We check every report. When we confirm an error, we fix it, update the date on the page and add a short correction note at the end of the article when the change affects the substance of the legal information.
